In my bathroom cabinet, I have my clothes iron, flat, with the cord wrapped around it. Next to the iron, there is a plastic bin full of nail polish and other nail accessories. Next to that is another bin the has hair accessories - clips, headbands and the like. I also keep my curling iron and flat iron here, and I store my hair dryer on top of this bin.
I use the hair dryer daily. When I'm finished with it, I wrap the cord around it and place it back on top of the bin.
For about the last week, when I've reached for the hair dryer, the hair dryer cord has been wrapped around the clothes iron. The clothes iron, not the flat iron or curling iron. The clothes iron, on the other side of the cabinet. The clothes iron, with its cord neatly wrapped around. it. The iron that I maybe use once every three months.
It's not like the hair dryer cord just became unwrapped and somehow got tangled in the iron cord either. The hair dryer cord has been wrapped around the iron, just like the iron cord.
Hubby said he woke up the other night and heard a noise like someone was rummaging through the cabinet. He attributed it to the cat in the litter box, although he said it really didn't sound like the cat scratching. Now he's pretty sure it wasn't. So, either someone is breaking into my house and messing with my dryer cord, or my ghost is trying to get my attention.
I vote ghost.
